At The Hustle students learn by doing. Through this 10-week course, students become familiar with business strategies, best practices, research skills and are also provided a safe and empowering space to be creative and ultimately build out their entrepreneurial projects.

What is The Hustle?
Students will learn what it means to be an entrepreneur and how to identify and solve a problem or fill an area of need.
As a group, students will identify a problem or area of need in their community.

Session Two
Competitor Research
Students will research competitors and analyze what makes their company different and unique in order to form their branding and positionality.

Session Three
Business Models
Students will learn about different business models and decipher which best fits their new business.

Session Four
Consumers
Students will craft questions and distribute surveys to collect data on potential consumers in order to create a product or service to best meet their needs.

Session Five
Product Research
Students will develop an action plan to create their product or service and begin the first steps in manufacturing the product.

Session Six
Distribution
Students will research how to develop, market and create space for consumers to access their product or service.

Session Seven
Marketing
Students will explore and create the most efficient and effective ways to market their product or service. This session is particularly designed for students to express their creativity and the branding they want to send to consumers.

Session Eight
Development
Students will identify their minimum viable product and research the necessities to build their product or service. This session is also designed for students to be reflective on their prior research, goals, and timetables.

Session Nine
Pitch
Students will build a pitch deck to share to an audience of founders or administrators and rehearse a presentation of what they have built.

Presentation
Students will present their business to potential investors, mentors, and/or administrators from their school depending on the direction of their business.
